The 2 Inch Self-Contained Ratchet with its patented design is quickly changing the truck tie-down industry; it allows the user to use as much or as little of the strap as needed, while the rest of the webbing is secured and stored safely behind the ratchet. No two jobs are alike, and you need to be ready to ratchet and roll with this 2 Inch Tie Down Strap Assembly. These Self Containing Ratchet Straps should be your go-to choice for keeping your cargo safe and secure.

The MOST IMPORTANT aspect of these straps is understanding that the wind up handle was designed for two things ONLY!

It’s designed to keep the excess webbing secure while in use and it’s designed to wind up the webbing when you’re done using the straps. NO tension should be put on the wind up handle. All ratchets must be Ratcheted down tightly before putting handle into the locked position.

FEATURES

The wind up handle is only designed for two purposes:

1. To make sure the webbing doesn‘t unwind while the ratchet strap is in use.
2. To wind up the webbing when you have finished using the ratchet strap.

The wind up mechanism will not carry any pressure.

The Self Contained Ratchet must be used the same as any other ratchet. The user must always ratchet down their load as tight as possible before engaging the winding mechanism.

POSITION 1:

The wind up handle is snapped close into the ratchet. This position is used when pulling the webbing out.

POSITION 2:

The wind up handle is snapped all the way out before closing the ratchet handle over it. This position is used after the load has been completely ratcheted down as tight as possible. This prevents the web from unwinding.

POSITION 3:

The wind up handle is snapped into a 90 degree angle. This position is used to wind up you strap.
